Editorial Policy

How we decide what to publish, how we handle corrections, and what standards our research and articles are held to.

Our Standards

Every article, video, or research write-up published on Flat Earth People is expected to state its method clearly, show its raw data or footage, and disclose any known limitations. We do not publish conclusions without the work behind them.

Independent Review

Research submissions are reviewed by at least one member of our editorial team before publication. Reviewers check that the described method matches the evidence presented and that the piece is written in good faith.

Corrections

When an error is identified in a published piece, we correct it and add a visible correction note with the date and a description of the change. We do not silently edit published claims.

Counterpoints & Challenges

We welcome and publish well-reasoned counterarguments to our own research, including from readers who disagree with our conclusions. Submissions are held to the same evidentiary standard regardless of the position they argue.
