A Community Built on Independent Inquiry
Flat Earth People started as a small forum for people who wanted to test claims for themselves. It has grown into a global community of researchers, skeptics, and curious minds.
Why We Started
Flat Earth People was founded by a small group of hobbyist researchers who were frustrated with how online debates on this topic usually went — long on mockery, short on actual testing. We wanted a place where anyone could propose an experiment, run it, publish the raw results, and have those results checked by others.
What began as a handful of forum threads has grown into a structured community with a research archive, a video library, and a live events calendar. We remain independent, member-supported, and open to anyone willing to engage in good faith.
Our Values
Every claim we publish is expected to come with a method, raw data, and a way for others to check it.
We publish counterarguments and corrections alongside our own research, not just the parts that confirm our views.
Members and guests are expected to engage respectfully. Mockery of sincere questions is not welcome here.
